In the last few days, I've been dedicating my meditation time to the people of Nepal. I can't even imagine what that small country has been through lately, and frankly, I don't want to imagine it or let the sadness of the situation into my mind. But what I can do is pray. What I can do is give. What I can do is dedicate my meditation time to sending them love and light and blessing the efforts of the relief organizations.
If you are able, please give to the relief efforts. If you can't, we all have some light and love in our hearts that we can direct their way, whether you are a praying sort of person or not.
Let's include Nepal in our practice of loving-kindness.
There are many ways to do this, here are a couple:
1. Actually giving money to a reputable relief organization
2. Asking for the energies of your spiritual practice be directed to blessing the people and relief workers in Nepal
3. Add a picture of Nepal to your altar space or personal sacred space, and light a candle in front of it
4. Many other ways, use your imagination, find a way that works for you
